Above the Green Line © is a Newsletter System of rotating into Investments that generally have more Buyers than Sellers (Above the Green Line, which is Above the 250 day exponential moving average), and the highest Relative Strength (> 90 Relative Strength).

This System is designed to Buy High, and Sell Higher, where we BUY on the DIPS. But Momentum Investing does  require discipline.

08/16/2016 Daily Commentary:  Markets dropped slightly today, as Buyers are about out of $$$.  Looks like the S&P 500 is about to complete Wave 5 up, since the bounce off the Green Line in late June.  After Wave 5 up is complete, the S&P 500 should drop down to test Support around 2130.

Utilities have dumped on expectations of Higher Interest Rates.

08/15/2016 Daily Commentary:  Markets are wearing investors out, who can’t wait for a pull-back. Higher Highs on low Volume…  Looks like the S&P 500 is about to complete Wave 5 up, since the bounce off the Green Line in late June.  After Wave 5 up is complete, the S&P 500 should drop down to test Support around 2130.

Current Open Positions  We bought XME and FCX today. We did not log RICE as it was already up 6% at the Close.

08/13/2016 Weekly Commentary:  Markets held above the Pink Lines (10-day avgs.) all week…  Looks like the S&P 500 is about to complete Wave 5 up, since the bounce off the Green Line in late June.

The Inverse VIX XIV and Small Caps IWM were not able to make new Highs this time up, indicating exhaustion. After Wave 5 up is complete, the S&P 500 should drop down to test Support around 2130.

There are plenty of divergences indicating a narrowing, and topping Market (See Chart Above), but it has not mattered with the super low Interest Rates.  It will normally take more upward action from rising Commodities prices, to crack the Bond Markets.

Current Open Positions  Nimble traders should have plenty of Cash for a pull-back soon, as we sold our last position Nintendo NTDOY on Friday for a 6.4% gain..

08/11/2016 Daily Commentary:  Markets continued the bounce up off the Pink Lines (10-day avgs.) today…  Looks like the S&P 500 is about to complete Wave 5 up, since the bounce off the Green Line in late June.

Many Funds are having trouble staying Above 90 Relative Strength. None of the major Indices have Above 90 Relative  Strength. Only ETFs of Metals GDXJ, GDX XME, SLV, Semis SMH, and a few Country Funds EWZ, & EWT have good Volume and Above 90 R S.

08/10/2016 Daily Commentary:  Markets went down and bounced at the Pink Lines (10-day avgs.) today… Probably another try up at the Highs tomorrow. Looks like the S&P 500 is about to complete Wave 5 up, since the bounce off the Green Line in late June.  After Wave 5 is complete, the S&P 500 should drop down to test Support around 2130.

Current Open Positions  We closed out AMAT today. Nimble traders should have plenty of Cash for a pull-back soon.

Money Wave Buy on SLV for Wednesday, but we did not log it, as it is so close to the Highs.
