Buy / Sell Signals

Markets were higher today as the S&P 500 Index was able to Close above 2641.39 to bring in more Buyers.  Next resistance is the Red Line (50-day avg.) around 2815. This rally from the Lows could be an A-B-C up on Elliott Wave count.

The 50-day average could become a short term profit taking area for nimble Investors, so we are raising some Cash below. Some of the Leaders are getting extended after the last 2 day rally, and the Watch List has become smaller.

Crude Oil was down $1.97 today at $24.11.

Markets were up slightly today as Oil prices surged 22 %. So far the Selling this week has been mild, and some of the Leaders are quickly coming back down near their Green Zones for Money Wave Buy Signals soon. 

It is very normal for the weaker Markets like the DOW, Small Caps, NYSE, & Transports to go back down and re-test the recent Lows. It would be Bullish if the Indices did not go all the way down to the March Lows. Or we could see more of a “W” pattern, with last week’s rally up being the middle of the W.

We completed our first quarter of the new System, and while the S&P 500 Index was down 20 %, the ETF System was down 17.1 %. The System will Sell all 5 Positions (QQQ XLK XLV SMH ITB) and only Buy 2 new positions (TLT and IAU). All of the other ETF Funds (no Inverse Funds) are Below the Green Line.
