Markets were up today as the S&P 500 Index is trying to Close above the April High of 2955 again. Markets are slightly higher than yesterday’s High. The Techs and Gold Miners have been able to make Higher Highs today. The Volume is low. 

Most of the Leaders are back up in the Red Zones (probably too late to Buy for the Short Term), so nimble Traders might want to raise some Cash or Sell Covered Call Options on investments that they plan on keeping.

The Markets are currently ignoring the Economic weakness, as the FED is Printing Money at full speed.  Please remember that the Markets have bounced up about 34 % from the March Lows, and are over-bought.

Crude Oil was up $1.60 today at $33.56.

Markets “Gapped Up” big today on panic Buying, but the Volume was only about 1/2 of normal. The low Volume tells us that everyone is not convinced about the Economy. The BioTechs were the Leaders today on Covid 19 Cure hopes. Swing Trading,

The recent sell-off last week was not enough to get many of the Leaders to Close back down in their Green Zones for Money Wave Buy Signals. So we will have to WAIT. Remember: Discipline.

Several Leaders reversed and turned down today (see Sell List below) as many are very over-bought. The better trades happen when the The S&P 500 is also back down to the Green Zone, but that has not happened yet.

Markets were mixed today after dropping down in the Morning. The S&P 500 Index needs to Close above 2955 to make progress. The Markets are ignoring the Economic weakness, as the FED is Printing Money at full speed.  Please remember that the Markets have bounced up about 30 % from the March Lows, and are now RESTING.

Looks like another attempt for the Market to go Above the Green Lines soon. The S&P 500 is at the 62% Retracement Level of the decline since the January Highs. Historically that Level could be the Top of a weak Market. We will see if the Markets roll over soon, or if FED Printing can save the day. 

 

Bonds  were down today as the Fear is slowly going away.

Crude Oil was up $0.91 today at $24.46.
