Buy / Sell Signals

Markets were mixed today but there were finally some good Pops in the Low Price sector (see chart above).  The S&P 500 and DOW 30 Indices are on Highs and over-bought. There is only 1 Stock on the Swing Trading Watch List, which normally means a pull-back is coming. The best Stock rallies normally happen when the Watch List is large.

The Buying has been poor, even with better than expected Earnings which probably indicates that the Markets need to come down further and become more over sold. This would normally set up for stronger moves up for trading.  Please be patient and WAIT for pull-backs.

The better trades happen when the S&P 500 Index is also in the Green Zone. 

Many BIG pops early today on DAY TRADING SETUPS.

Bonds  were down slightly down today, and are below the Green Line.

Crude Oil was down $0.18 today at $61.96.

Markets were higher today as the Financials and Big Caps led the way up. The S&P 500 and DOW 30 Indices should try again to get above Monday’s Highs, but the Volume needs to improve. The Buying has been poor, even with better than expected Earnings which probably indicates that the Markets need to come down further and become more over sold. This would normally allow for stronger moves up for trading. 

The Markets seem to be exhausted after the 80 % + move in the last year. This is why most of the Leaders are not popping much lately. Many Investors have already bought, so be Cautious now. The Leaders and the S&P 500 Index are coming down from the Red Zones (probably too late to Buy for the Short Term). We had a few Money Wave Buy Signals today, but the Volume was not good (lack of serious Buyers).

The better trades happen when the S&P 500 Index is also in the Green Zone. Please be patient and WAIT for pull-backs.

UEC      URANIUM ENERGY CORP.      Popped above $2.79 today, but UEC will not be bought or logged as the Volume is below average of 7.6 MIL.

Markets were higher today as the S&P 500 and DOW 30 Indices were able to bounce up off the Pink Line (10-day avgs.) to avoid Short Term Sell Signals. Buying came in, but it was not robust and the Volume was Low (Caution). The Low Volume probably indicates that the Markets need to come down further and become more over sold, if we want to see some stronger moves up. Most Momentum Stocks have pulled back quite a bit, and historically they should pop back up soon.

Markets were lower again today as the Indices are relieving their over bought condition, so we can Buy soon. Most Momentum Stocks have pulled back quite a bit, and historically they should pop back up soon.
