Markets were slightly lower again today as the Leaders are slowly coming down from over-bought levels. Most of the Leaders tried to bounce back up near the Pink Lines (10-day avgs.) today, but many investors were not convinced. Falling below could be a Short Term Sell Signal.

Markets “gapped up” today on some panic buying on expectations of Good News soon. The Volume only about 1/2 of normal so maybe the institutions are holding the Markets up until the end of the quarter for bonuses. It is amazing how most don’t want to Sell anymore. But the Buying is weak, as if this continued move up is to squeeze the Short Sellers out.

The Leaders are still back up near the Red Zones (probably too late to Buy for the Short Term) so most nimble Traders are resisting Buying into an over-bought Market (explains low Volume).

The strong Commodity Funds are lower after many failed to exceed the recent Highs. This could mean a Double Top or Failure for Commodities. High Commodities would normally slow the Economy down without the FED tightening.
