Markets were sharply lower today as many have decided that an economic slow down is coming. The FED raised Short Term Interest Rates again yesterday. The NASDAQ 100 Index is now 20 % Below the Green Line on FEAR Selling (and is 33% below the November Highs). We are not Selling any positions that are down in value on this emotional Flush. The Dollar and Long Term Interest Rates should pull back down towards their Green Lines (like they always do). That should create a Stock rally.

Markets rallied today on the Bad News of the Federal Reserve raising Short Term Interest Rates by 3/4 %. And good news for Smart Money is that only 6% of stocks in the S&P 500 Index are currently above the 50 Day Average, the lowest number since the pandemic (see Chart above). This tells us that most of the stocks have tanked, and history shows that Smart Money uses that as an opportunity to buy.

That caused the Stock Indices to “Gap Down” on panic Selling and slip below the May lows.  The S&P 500 Index was not able to make a Higher Low, which is Bearish. However the Selling Volume is low, which is Bullish.
