April 23, 2025.The Nasdaq has shown a robust bullish surge today , driving prices higher and confirming a successful higher low that signals strength in the uptrend. Despite this positive momentum—often referred to as a “retrace back to the banana line” in our framework—we remain cautiously optimistic, aware that markets can top out after strong rallies.
Interest rates influenced bond markets today, with yields pushing bond prices sharply higher, suggesting a flight to safety in other sectors. Meanwhile, gold experienced a corrective decline, pulling back from recent highs as traders rotated into equities and bonds. Overall, the market’s health looks solid, but vigilance is key.
