Markets were mixed again today on a tight trading range with low Volume. The Indices and Leaders are mostly up in the Red Zones (probably too late to Buy for the Short Term). The Markets are waiting on Earnings tonight for Google & Microsoft. Tesla came out with Earnings last night and it dropped 4% today.
The S&P 500 and DOW 30 Indices are on Highs and over-bought. There is only 1 Stock on the Swing Trading Watch List, which normally means that a Bad News story will come out soon, causing the Herd to take profits.. The best Stock rallies normally happen when the Watch List is large.
The Buying has been poor, even with better than expected Earnings. This probably means that the Markets need to come down and finally become over sold. We have not had an over sold Market in a while, and that is why the Money Wave Pops have not been as good lately. Please be patient and WAIT for pull-backs. It does not take that long.
The better trades happen when the S&P 500 Index is also in the Green Zone.
Bonds were down again today, and are below the Green Line.
Crude Oil was down $1.32 today at $63.23.

Many like to Buy the day before, near the Close, if the Money Wave is going to create a Buy Signal (Closing > 20 and out of the Green Zone).
Don’t Buy if the Investment has already popped up too much. Money Wave Buys are usually good for a 3-6 % move in a few days.
We will “Not Log” trades if the Reward/Risk is not at least 2:1, or Low Volume. These have more risk.
